Amanda Holden has spilled the beans on why her co-star Jamie Theakston was missing from Heart Radio today - and it's all thanks to Davina McCall.

After a weekend break, fans were greeted by Amanda, 53, and her temporary co-host Jason King aka JK, as Jamie is recuperating at home post-surgery.

Just yesterday, the 53 year old shared with his followers that he had a throat lesion removed after listeners raised concerns about his health due to his on-air coughing fits.

During Monday's show, JK, 49, gave an update on Jamie's health, saying the 53 year old "is not too good when it comes to his voice." Amanda then elaborated: "For the last year, Jamie sort of coughs like an old geezer in the morning, he's been going [demonstrates noise], we've been going 'get it up Jamie, get it up'."
