Emmerdale's Nate star breaks silence on exit after five years and says 'it was now or never'

He later secured a job working on Moira Dingle's farm and pursued a relationship with Amy Wyatt. But he later began a sexual affair with Moira behind Amy and Moria's husband Cain Dingle's backs, only for Nate to be revealed as Cain's secret son when the affair was exposed.
The rest, as they say, is history but Nate's past with Moria recently sealed his exit from the village after five years. As Emmerdale viewers know, Moira has been acting out of character for weeks with it only now being revealed, after a horror barn fire, that she has a brain tumour. While his decision to leave for Shetland was up in the air as he seemingly reconciled with Tracy, a heart-to-heart with Moira saw her making a pass at her former flame, witnessed by Caleb.
