Kate Garraway told her fans she and her children were 'in bits' after picking up a National Television Award. The 2024 ceremony took place on Wednesday night (September 11) with the who's who of the TV world out in force.
The star-studded event once again took place at London's 02 Arena where big winners included Emmerdale, Strictly Come Dancing, Ant and Dec and Davina McCall, who was in tears as she was given the Special Recognition gong.
Kate was also among those heading onto the stage after her ITV documentary, Derek's Story, was awarded the Authored Documentary prize after being listed alongside David Beckham's Netflix documentary and READ MORE; Who won at the National Television Awards 2024?
Full list of winners from the night The award completed a hat-trick in the best authored documentary category for Kate, with her claiming it was 'bittersweet' after the film followed the final year of Draper’s life before he died in January aged 56 after a lengthy battle with the long-term effects of Covid.
