Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has given his assessment of teenage star Amad Diallo - and has identified a limitation.
The 18-year-old was given his senior debut in the last minutes of the Red Devils’ 4-0 Europa League win over Real Sociedad. And the Ivorian, who has four goals and three assists from his first three U23s game, made the most of it with some impressive dribbling.
But Scholes, who graduated from United’ academy to win 25 major titles in the famous red shirt, questioned one part of Diallo’s game.
Speaking on BT Sport after the win, the 46-year-old said: “We didn’t see too much. He looks a talented player, I watched the under-23s last week, he scored a goal and made a couple. “He’s got real talent, a nice left foot.
