Alton Towers announces return of popular Oktoberfest and Scarefest events as part of biggest Autumn celebrations

As we approach the Autumn months, one popular theme park is preparing for a ‘thrilliant’ season of events that will keep families and horror fans entertained.

Thrill-seekers that travel far and wide for the exhilarating rides and attractions of Alton Towers can expect a fantastic end to the year, with the park announcing two months of events such as Oktoberfest, Scarefest and Fireworks that will run from Saturday, September 7 to Sunday, November 10.

The jam-packed schedule will see a carnival of unforgettable Bavarian family fun, and the Halloween festival of Scarefest, which promises to return with vengeance this October. Visitors will also be offered a brand-new Bavarian-inspired food and drink menu and special Oktoberfest entertainment. The covered front lawn will offer a chance for families and friends to enjoy the traditional menu that will see a German menu that places a key emphasis on diversifying the cuisine, including grilled platters with Frikadellen meatballs, Kartoffeln, herbed potatoes with bacon and kaesespaetzle, and German egg noodles with cheese, as well as a range of new and unusual pretzel flavours.
