lockdown restrictions. The budget supermarket chain says that a “merry mix” of festive products will be hitting supermarket shelves from June 21 - the date scheduled for all Covid restrictions to end south of the border.
And while there is yet no such date announced for Scotland, the products will also be hitting Scots supermarkets in time for the country’s scheduled downgrade to level zero lockdown from the end of next month.
The Scottish Government says that level zero is as close to normality as possible amid the global health crisis. The so-called Junemas range will feature seasonal twists on festive favourites - such as Giant Pigs in Blanket Kebabs, Turkey Burgers and Frankfurter sausages wrapped in bacon and mustard.
