Alan Carr's estranged husband has spoken publicly for the first time since he was released from prison for his drink-drive car crash.Paul Drayton, 50, won his appeal against his original 14-week sentence on Friday leaving him a free man.The party planner spent two "harrowing" nights in police custody before he attended the court hearing last week.He has now confirmed that he will not be returning to prison but does take "full accountability" for his actions and is planning a return to rehab to address his addiction issues.He wrote in a statement: "As you can imagine, this has been an exceptionally challenging time, but I am so grateful for the support and care I've received."I take full accountability for my actions, but I am so thankful for the opportunity to truly get better and to start my new chapter with strength and determination."Thank you for all of the support, love and kindness you have shown me over the last few weeks."He then added: "I am now going back to my rehabilitation centre to keep my journey and progress moving forward and will be stepping away from social media during this time."Thank you all again.
