The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) has reversed guidance on travel to Spain, and is once again advising against all but essential travel to the country.
Spain was also removed from the government's list of countries that are exempt from quarantine on arrival in England due to a spike in coronavirus cases in several regions.
Travellers who are currently in Spain will now face a two-week period of self-isolation on return to the UK, which if broken can result in a fine of up to £1,000.
