Kyle Walker-Peters' move from Tottenham to Southampton will be confirmed early next week after personal terms were agreed on Saturday morning.
The two clubs are now waiting for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to undergo a medical ahead of his switch in the opposite direction. And once that is done — and assuming he passes it — the two deals, although separate, will be announced together.
Club-to-club agreements were reached on fees of £15million rising to £19m for Hojbjerg and £12m plus add-ons for Walker-Peters on Thursday.
The last stumbling block after lengthy negotiations was around the sell-on clauses in both contracts but the two clubs finally struck a deal that afternoon.
