A former aide who was frogmarched out of Downing Street on Dominic Cummings ’ orders has received a payout from the government Sonia Khan had been a high profile Tory advisor working for two Chancellors of the Exchequer.
Ms Khan had launched a claim for unfair dismissal and of discrimination - which has an uncapped level of compensations. The settlement means Mr Cummings - who is now expected to be out of Downing Street himself by the new year - no longer faces the prospect of giving evidence at an employment tribunal next month after he was named as a respondent in Ms Khan’s case.
