Dominic Cummings left Downing Street after his relationship with Boris Johnson 'fell off a cliff', according to a former Cabinet member.The prime minister's senior adviser has reportedly left his role amid a power struggle that has rocked Mr Johnson's administration.Mr Cummings was seen leaving Number 10 on Friday evening carrying a cardboard box of his possessions following a bitter dispute.The Daily Telegraph reported Mr Cummings was said to have told colleagues Mr Johnson was “indecisive” and that he and director of communications Lee Cain, who has also announced his resignation, relied on Cabinet Office minister Michael Gove for clarity.Tensions were raised further when Mr Johnson's fiancée Carrie Symonds was forwarded “hostile texts”.
