Adorable pet dog disappears on walk and ends up on 100-mile round trip in random taxi

dog had a day out to remember after running away from his owner before taking a 100-mile trip in a taxi. Georgia Crewe, 27, was out walking her three-year-old Cavapoo Ralph at Gresford Quarry in Wrexham, and was chatting to another dog owner on early on Monday morning (February 13) when suddenly he was nowhere to be seen.

The taxi driver was heading all the way to Manchester Airport and took the dog along for the ride."It turned out that he'd left the quarry and gone back to the road in the direction of home," she said."A taxi had pulled up to pick up a family who were heading on their holidays.

It was cold, and Ralph just jumped in to the cab."The taxi driver let the friendly dog to stay in the car so he could continue on his long journey after noticing Ralph didn't have visible identification on his collar.The passengers he was taking were also quite happy to be accompanied by the furry hitchhiker.After the airport drop off, Ralph was taken to the cabbies home in Mold, Flintshire, before they searched online for the owner.Georgia has now been reunited with Ralph and is going to get a geolocation tag fitted on Ralph as well as a flashing light and an identity disc.This will allow her more peace of mind if he decides to go on another trip up north.Georgia said: "He's my baby.
