A Place in the Sun was a disaster for presenter Ben Hillman when he failed to find anything his house-hunters liked enough for them to make an offer.Viewers of the Channel 4 show on Wednesday (May 19) reckoned the properties were "s***ty", the "a**e end", and the "c***pest" ever shown in a single episode.Ben was carrying out his search in the Spanish town of Oliva situated on the Valencian coastline for keen cyclists and beekeepers Rachel and John who had a budget of £100,000 to play with.Sadly, the properties he took them around were either a bit small or neglected and in need of work.
His first two properties were both three-bedroom townhouses on the market for around £80,000 and had roof terraces but lacked green outside space.Ben told.
