A Place in the Sun's newest host has shared how he used to pole dance as a way of saving to get onto the property ladder. In a new interview, Craig Rowe opened up on his performing background which helped him save to buy his first property 20 years ago.Craig Rowe is the newest presenter on the popular Channel 4 property show, alongside Leah Charles-King.They joined the programme shortly after newcomer Lee Juggurnauth last year.Speaking on his background, Craig spoke about his love of dance.He said: "For a long time, I was in a dance company in London, and we used to put on shows."I’ve danced on stage at concerts all over the place, and for a while I also did male pole dancing."The star went on to reveal that at one point he was even holding down three jobs including one as a dancer to help him get on the property ladder.He said: "When I was 25, I bought my first property in London with my sister."Neither of us could afford to buy ourselves at the time."We both had three jobs at the time and we just decided to buy somewhere together in North West London, and that spurred my love for property," he told The Daily Star.Craig has been working in the property business for decades, first joining the holiday company Travelsphere when he was just 18 years old.Upon joining APITS, the star shared his excitement about joining the team, telling Channel 4 it’s his “dream job".He said: “I’m so delighted to become part of the ‘A Place in the Sun’ presenter team!“Having loved travel since my teens and then nurturing a passion for property since buying my first flat in London 20 years ago, it's my dream job!He went to say how he gets a "buzz" from helping people find their dream home in the sun.In his 30s, Rowe decided to take a year out.
