Chelsea are set for a summer clearout after wrapping up their £53million capture of Timo Werner. The RB Leipzig striker, who has scored 25 goals in the Bundesliga this season, will sign a five-year deal at the club worth £9million a year.
The Blues, who have Leicester ’s Ben Chilwell in their sights, could also now move for 23-year-old Sassuolo forward Jeremie Boga, who spent nine years at Stamford Bridge before joining his current club two years ago.
Chelsea have a buy-back clause for the versatile star who has eight goals and assisting another four in 24 league appearances this season.
The club are already set to get Spanish winger Pedro off the wage bill on a free transfer with Roma believed to be in pole position for his services.
