Zoe Ball was brought to tears after having a farewell lunch with some of her BBC colleagues this Tuesday. The beloved DJ and television presenter, 54, was spotted enjoying a special meal at the chic Langan's Brasserie in London earlier this week.

Pictures of the aftermath of the meal showed her brushing away a tear as she sat with her former workmates. However, any emotional moment was brief as the Broadcast personality, and former wife of musician Fatboy Slim, soon broke into a broad smile amidst the celebrations with her team.

The gathering follows just over a month after Zoe announced she would be stepping down from her Radio 2 slot — a decision that came on the heels of her taking time off over summer after the passing of her mother Julia Peckham in April.
