Zayn Malik fans have been left in tears after the singer cancelled minutes before his show, with fans unsure if the upcoming Edinburgh performances will go ahead.Punters in attendance at Newcastle City Hall on Tuesday December 3 were left bewildered when a tannoy announcement confirmed that the concert wouldn't be going ahead.

The announcement stated: "We apologise for the late notice, it was his hope that he would be able to continue with the show."The tour was set to wrap up in Edinburgh on December 8 and 9, after already being postponed due to the tragic loss of Liam Payne.The originally scheduled Edinburgh show on November 20 was moved to December 8.

A second date at the same O2 Academy Edinburgh venue, originally set for November 21, was rescheduled to December 9. Despite tonight's cancellation in Newcastle, there has been no information to suggest any changes to the Edinburgh dates.Zayn has now issued a heartfelt apology to fans affected by tonight's cancellation.The star wrote on a black background on his Instagram Stories on Tuesday night: "I'm so sorry to do this but my voice just isn't there at all tonight and without it there's no show.
