John Paul Grimshaw, 32, left his victim with a double-fracture in his jaw after striking him with a lump hammer outside Mister Ali’s Tandoori Restaurant on July 4 last year.

Grimshaw, a dad from Blackley, was jailed for three years and nine months at Manchester Minshull Street on Monday after pleading guilty to grievous bodily harm.
