A group of writers that are represented by JK Rowling 's literary agency have quit after the organisation allegedly failed to publicly support transgender rights.
Writers Fox Fisher, Ugla Stefanía Kristjönudóttir Jónsdóttir and Drew Davies have left The Blair Partnership, explaining that the agency did not commit to meaningful action after JK Rowling's comments.
A fourth writer has also resigned from the agency, but wished to remain anonymous. In a joint statement, the authors said they were 'saddened' and that their decision had not been made lightly.
