Work begins today (March 24) on the Glade of Light - a living garden space with a white stone ring ‘halo’ at its heart bearing the names of those who lost their lives on May 22, 2017.
Designed as a space for remembrance and reflection, the memorial will provide a tranquil environment with planting to reflect the changing seasons.
Work on the project is due to be completed by December this year. As such, the memorial will be complete in time for the fifth anniversary of the attack in which 22 people were killed.
