A woman has spoken of her horror after being caught in a blaze police say was started deliberately at a block of flats in Hamilton.Emergency services rushed to the flats in Ann Street in Burnbank at around 1.20am on Saturday, July 29.Kirsteen Morrison was watching TV when she heard a commotion in her block.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

It was pretty scary.”Kirsteen has said that the fire has had a considerable impact on her young son who is terrified something similar could happen again.She added: “Thankfully my son wasn’t in the flat that night but it has really freaked him out.
He doesn’t want to come back and stay here and that’s upsetting for me.“I had just off my medication for my anxiety so this has really set me back as well.
