Woman claims airline killed dog by placing him in cargo hold to freeze to death

Maria Echeverry was flying between Puerto de Asis and Santiago de Cali in Colombia when her pooch was placed in the hold.Originally she had specifically wanted her four legged friend, Homero, in the cabin next to her.But she claims she was forced to hand Homero over when she was boarding, and he was taken below the flight deck.She claims she was shocked to find her dog's carrier under several bags with Homero dead inside, adding that the EasyFly airline simply gave her the carrier without any explanation as if it were "any other object, avoiding all responsibility".In a fuming post, the grieving dog lover said a vet and expert in animal transportation told her that the plane was not.
