A woman has been arrests after a man was stabbed in an early hours attack in Salford, police have confirmed. Emergency services were scrambled to Bickershaw Drive in Walkden at 2.15am after what's thought to have been a domestic incident.
Today - as she was being questioned by detectives - a blue forensics tent was pictured on a street with roads on an estate also cordoned off.
Tactical Aid Unit officers were also pictured carrying out a fingertip search. A 40-year-old woman has been arrested and remained in police custody.
Officers said the woman was arrested in Walkden. Police chiefs said despite the arrest, an investigation was ongoing and revealed that thankfully, the man's injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
