The players of Wishaw Wycombe Wanderers FC are sporting brand new kits and it’s thanks to the American owners of their professional namesakes.Seeing as it’s the club’s 30th anniversary season, the Lanarkshire club's president Alex Richardson thought it would be fitting to have new strips in the sky and navy blue colours of English League One side Wycombe Wanderers.The Wishaw club have struck up a friendship with their esteemed counterparts over the last few years.Unfortunately, after choosing a half-and-half strip similar to that worn by the English side during their 125th anniversary, their kit sponsorship fell through, leaving them with a financial headache.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
