Wiping tears on his t-shirt, a young boy stands in the witness box. Alisha Goup's young brother tells the packed courtroom: "I wish it was me that died and not my sister." Two men sat in the dock listened to his heartbreaking words.

They were responsible for his sister's death - and were about to be jailed. The boy's sibling was killed in a horror crash. Omar Choudhury, 22, ploughed his souped-up BMW into the 16-year-old as she walked to college.

He was travelling twice the speed limit on Rochdale Road in Oldham moments before the smash. Choudhury was being chased by Hamidur Rahman, 24, a member of his extended family who he had 'beef' with. They were both found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving following a trial. Each is beginning a 14-year sentence after facing Alisha's family and a judge at Minshull Street Crown Court.
