Winter weather-bomb 'coming next week' as three days of snow set to land on UK

Met Office experts warning that snow could be on the way as soon as next week Weather forecasters have already warned that temperatures will plummet after this week, with some commentators describing the oncoming wintry spell as a 'mini ice age' And in the last few days, the Met Office upgraded its snow forecast for the coming weeks from a 'slight risk of wintry showers' to 'likely snow and ice'.

With the mercury dropping to around -4C, data from WXcharts shows that Sunday 21, Saturday 27 and overnight on Tuesday 30 as the three days that snow is predicted to hit multiple parts of the UK.
