Just months after going viral with its bloody and gory trailer, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey may just be a box office hit as well.The film was quietly released in theaters in Mexico on January 26, taking in just under $1 million over two weekends, $950,000 to be exact, via THR.The box office buzz combined with the viral frenzy the film created when word first spread of it last summer, is now leading to a full global rollout.The film was originally supposed to be released in theaters with a one-day-only event through Fathom Events on February 15.Now it's getting a much-expanded theatrical rollout in over 1,500 theaters over a span of at least nine days through Fathom Events.
