Sterling was a noteable absentee from the starting line up and substitutes at Craven Cottage on Saturday night, for a teamsheet that had seven changes from the win against Southampton.
With Sergio Aguero, Benjamin Mendy and John Stones back in the line up, the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Phil Foden, Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan dropped to the bench, while Sterling was missing completely.
However, Guardiola confirmed that there is no injury concern for Sterling, simply replying 'no' when asked about an injury by BT Sport, and 'yes' when asked if it's a tactical move.
