Ghosts is airing a new episode tonight, but will then be taking six weeks off from new episodes! The hit CBS comedy TV show is actually airing a one-hour long Christmas special tonight, titled “A Very Arondekar Christmas,” and it’s kicking off at 8pm ET.

Here’s the synopsis: A leaky water heater mishap threatens to ruin holiday plans as Sam and Jay prepare to host Jay’s hard-to-please dad, Mahesh (Bernard White), difficult-to-impress mom, Champa (Sakina Jaffrey), and sister Bela (Punam Patel).

However, after tonight’s special episode, the show will be on hiatus until late January 2025. Find out why Ghosts will be off the air for 6 weeks… So, what’s the reason for the extended time off?
