ABC’s Thursday night lineup is a huge hit, and includes fan favorite TV shows Grey’s Anatomy, Doctor Odyssey, and 9-1-1.

However, it’s going to be months before the three shows are back on the air with new episodes. Why? And when are they returning? Keep reading to find out more… All three shows are on a hiatus right now, opting to take off several weeks for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

Then, the break will extend further into March. This hasn’t been officially confirmed by ABC yet, but often, when shows opt to take longer breaks over the winter, it means when they finally do return, they can air the remaining episodes of the season uninterrupted until the season finales in May.

If they returned earlier in the winter, viewers might have had to see some reruns here and there. All three shows will return on March 6, 2025 with new episodes.
