GFRIEND return with new single ‘Season of Memories’ ahead of reunion album

GFRIEND have dropped a new single titled ‘Season of Memories’, ahead of the release of their reunion album of the same name.Today (January 6), GFRIEND and Source Music released a cut from the band’s highly anticipated reunion album.

Although the song, titled ‘Season of Memories’, did not receive a full music video, the label released an accompanying mood film with a portion of the song.The minute-long visual starts with footage of what appears to be a journal, decorated and adorned with photos of GFRIEND’s past years together.

A heartwarming compilation of all six GFRIEND members spending time together, presented as camcorder footage.“I couldn’t believe it would all disappear / We went around and we met again in time / I’ve been waiting for you at any moment / I’ll choose you till the end,” Yuju and Eunha sing on the chorus.GFRIEND’s ‘Season of Memories’ special album is due out in full on January 13 at 6pm KST, only a few days shy of the band’s 10th anniversary on January 16.

The album’s release will also mark the six-piece’s first record together in four years, after they disbanded in May 2021.Following the release, GFRIEND will then embark on an intimate Asia tour of the same name in support of the album.
