Glastonbury fans witnessed David Bowie’s legendary full headlining set on TV for the first time last night on BBC Two. The set, which is widely regarded as one of the best sets in Glastonbury history, has only partly been shown on TV before.
Back in 2000 an estimated quarter of a million festival-goers packed into the famous Pyramid stage field, where some of music's biggest names - from The Rolling Stones, to Beyonce, to Oasis - have also played.
As Somerset Live reports, festival founder Michael Eavis often refers to Bowie’s set as his favourite Glastonbury moment, but for many fans the full set has been a mystery.
