Heavy rain has battered Greater Manchester over the last 24-hours. A month's worth of rain was forecast to fall over this weekend across parts of the UK, with a yellow weather warning for rain issued for over Sunday (July 23).
The rain fell uninterrupted throughout Saturday morning (July 22) - putting day four of the Ashes test at Old Trafford under threat - before subsiding for much of the afternoon.
The threat of rain never really went away however, and is set to return on Sunday. Heavy rain is set to return across Greater Manchester on Saturday night.
