Having returned to school from the Christmas break way back at the start of January, pupils and teachers alike will be more than ready for a well-deserved half-term break.

But each of Scotland's 32 councils set different term dates, and it's not always easy to know exactly which days the schools in your area will be closed.

While some lucky kids are off for a whole week or more, others will only see a few days' break before the second half of the term starts back up.Some council areas have their half-term breaks earlier than others - with a few off at the moment.
