Mount has completed an initial £55m switch to United from Chelsea. The 24-year-old England midfielder was entering the final 12 months of his contract at Stamford Bridge and the Reds swooped in to make him their first summer signing.
Several bids for Mount were turned down by Chelsea as the London side looked to make as much as they could from the sale of their academy product.
However, a deal worth an initial £55m, plus an extra £5m in performance-related add-ons, has been agreed.
