Manchester United are reportedly keen on AS Monaco defender Axel Disasi. That is according to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, who claims that United manager Erik ten Hag has given a move for the centre-back the green light.
Newcastle United have also been credited with an interest, with both clubs said to have approached the player's side - while neither have made contact with Monaco yet.
United could well be in the market for a centre-back this summer, after signing midfielder Mason Mount. Ten Hag is now looking to sign goalkeeper Andre Onana and striker Rasmus Hojlund, but an addition in the heart of defence is not out of the question.
