What ITV Concert for Ukraine raised after star-studded night
manchestereveningnews.co.ukITV helped stage a huge musical event on Tuesday night to raise vital funds for the humanitarian effort in Ukraine following Russia's invasion.
The two-hour Concert for Ukraine was organised to raise money for the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) and its response to the Russian invasion.
It aired live on ITV last night (March 29) from the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham. The star-studded line-up also included Ed Sheeran, Anne-Marie, Gregory Porter, Snow Patrol, Manic Street Preachers, and Camila Cabello.
Ukrainian Eurovision winner Jamala, whose real name is Susana Jamaladinova, also took to the stage after fleeing her home country following the invasion.
