Her four years on the ITV show had not been easy. Her credentials were questioned by everyone from Graham Norton to Noel Gallagher and in 2008 she broke down in tears live on air after a row with Louis Walsh over a song choice.
On top of that, fellow judge Sharon Osbourne took a vicious dislike to Dannii over her rumoured fling with show boss Simon Cowell.
