A incredible pensioner thought to be the oldest woman in Scotland has just celebrated her 110th birthday.Janet McKay marked the amazing milestone at Broxburn Nursing Home on March 26.Her family weren’t able to join her for the special occasion due to the coronavirus lockdown, but they handed in presents and staff held a tea party for her.Janet was born on March 26, 1910, in the Borders, between Jedburgh and Kelso, but lived in Corstorphine in Edinburgh for most of her married life.Born into a farming family, Janet regularly moved around when she was younger.She was in Dalmahoy when she met and married Alistair in 1935 and gave birth to her eldest son Sandy the following year and went on to have a second son, Donald.The family moved to their
