Plans for a phased return to school after the summer holidays will see some pupils in the classroom for just one day a week.West Dunbartonshire Council published their blueprint for a “blended” return of in-class and at-home learning from Wednesday August 11 last week for all 12,542 pupils in the area, with primary age students returning for two days a week - and completing a mixture of work set in class and online on the other three days.Pupils in S4, S5 and S6 will also attend physical classes twice a week, with students in S1, S2 and S3 in class for just one day a week - and receiving targeted support.Youngsters attending ELCCs will be split into two groups - with two full days and an additional half-day fortnightly of learning on.
