Wendy Williams
Wendy Williams Hunter (born Wendy Joan Williams; July 18, 1964) is an American television host, businesswoman, media personality and author. Since 2008, she has hosted the nationally syndicated television talk show The Wendy Williams Show. Prior to television, Williams was a radio DJ and host and quickly became known in New York as a "shock jockette". She gained notoriety for her on-air spats with celebrities and was the subject of the 2006 VH1 reality TV series The Wendy Williams Experience which broadcast events surrounding her radio show. She was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2009.

Wendy Williams Taking Hiatus From ‘Wendy@Home’ Due To Fatigue From Graves’ Disease

By Denise Petski Senior Managing Editor Wendy Williams is taking some to time off from her daytime talk show due to health concerns over her Graves’ disease, Deadline has confirmed. “Recently, Wendy has been dealing with symptoms from her Graves’ disease which is causing fatigue.

In consultation with her doctor and as a precautionary measure, she will be taking some time off as she continues to receive treatment,” a spokesperson for The Wendy Williams Show said in a statement to Deadline. “We look forward to welcoming Wendy back soon and continuing the Wendy@Home shows.
