Stockport’s new top police officer has promised to ‘lock up the baddies’ and restore the public’s trust in a police service he admits has not been good enough.
Chief Superintendent John Webster transferred from Merseyside Police less than three weeks ago - but says people will soon see a difference in how crime is tackled in the borough.
