When it comes to biscuits, custard creams are up there as a favourite. In a list of the UK's top 10 favourite biscuits, they ranked sixth, beneath Biscoff, shortbread, bourbon, Jaffa Cake and Jammy Dodger, and above Party Rings, digestives, malted milk and Wagon Wheels.
While it's debatable as to whether at least two of those are even biscuits at all, we thought we'd put packs of the mid-ranking custard cream to the test. Here's what we thought... Appearance Well, in all honesty, there's not that much difference at all. Yes the outside covers may be different, although you can pretty much guarantee it's a yellow packet you're looking for - albeit of varying shades.
The biscuits themselves look almost identical, down to the intricate pattern and custard cream lettering inside a diamond shape.
