Erik ten Hag admits Manchester United simply have to get back to winning ways in the Premier League to restore the momentum that was lost in their derby day thrashing.
Ten Hag's side have won six of their last eight games in all competitions, with the sobering 6-3 thumping at the hands of rivals Manchester City their only league defeat in that period.
United travel to Everton on Sunday evening (7pm) hoping to seal a second successive win after victory in Cyprus on Thursday night in the Europa League clash with Omonia Nicosia.
Speaking to the club's website, a bullish Ten Hag said: "It's not 'hope', we have to do it [beat Everton]. We have to first create a plan, and then extend it with desire, passion and high intensity and we have to be ready for kick-off on Sunday.
