Derby County have been left in a relegation sweat after the EFL won an appeal to find them in breach of Financial Fair Play rules.Wayne Rooney's side escaped relegation by a single point on the last day of the season but now face the possibility of being relegated by a points deduction penalty.An independent panel will now decide what punishment The Rams face and when it will come into force.That means that if a points penalty is enforced, then Derby could face the indignity of being dumped out of the Championship with currently relegated Wycombe being reinstated.That would hinge on such punishment being applied to the season just finished when the likeliest outcome is that it would be carried over to next season.That still won't stop Derby.
