Wayne Rooney is looking to add a full golf course to the grounds of his country home. Full-length holes will be joined by a putt course and a driving range should the plans go ahead, with plenty of work going on around the house he and his wife Coleen are having built in Cheshire.
The plot was bought for £4.3m by the Derby County midfielder and work is set to be completed next year. The purchased marked the return of the Rooney family to the UK from the United States - where the former Everton man spent two MLS seasons with D.C.
United. According to The Sun, the finished home will be worth in the region of £20m - which would be a vast increase on it’s original value before the modifications.
