Celtic loanee youngster Osaze Urhoghide faces a two-match ban and a potential fine after being sent off for the second time this season with a crude challenge whilst playing for KV Oostende. The young talent joined Celtic as one of Ange Postecoglou's first ever signings from Sheffield Wednesday - alongside fellow former Owls academy graduate Liam Shaw - but the arrivals of Carl Starfelt and Cameron Carter-Vickers saw him slip down the pecking order under the Australian boss. The Dutch-born defender, 22, featured for Celtic just once in the Europa League defeat to Real Betis, with game time now becoming key to his development.

As a result, he joined Oostende on loan last January, with the temporary deal being extended until the end of the current season.

However, despite regular game time, Urhoghide has come under criticism for being sent off twice in his time in Belgium - with the latest endeavour taking place this weekend against Ronny Deila's Standard Liege.Having already been sent off with a second yellow card against RFC Seraing back in January, Urhoghide then produced a horror tackle on former Watford and Nottingham Forest star Philip Zinckernagel with his team already 3-1 down as they remain 3 points adrift of safety. And he could face further consequences with the Belgian Football Union issuing him with a two-game ban, alongside a fine of €2,500.

The form of Carter-Vickers and Starfelt means that any Celtic defender will find it difficult to earn their way in to the starting XI - and Urhoghide's rash antics will not do him any favours. READ NEXT:
