Brits holidaying in Greece and Spain have been warned of extreme temperatures this week as a heatwave sweeps across southern Europe.
It comes as thousands of families will be jetting off this week to the popular destinations as schools break up for the summer.
But UK visitors have been warned of baking conditions as temperatures soar. In Spain, an official heatwave warning has been issued by its national weather agency Aemet.
Beginning from Tuesday July 23 until Thursday, July 25, forecasters warn that temperatures could reach as high as 44C in some parts of the country this week.
