Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Met Office issues heatwave weather warning for UK as two areas face hottest temperatures

The Met Office has issued a warning for the UK, forecasting four days of intense heat starting from Saturday and lasting until at least Tuesday, with two areas expected to be hit the hardest.The weather experts predict that the hot weather will sweep across the entire UK from Saturday, but it's England and Wales where the "heat will build most notably." Monday is set to be the hottest day, particularly in the south east which will face the most extreme hot weather conditions.

On Saturday, temperatures are expected to begin at 24-25C in various parts of the country, soaring to highs of 31-32C on Monday, especially in London and the south of England.The high temperatures will persist into Tuesday, before beginning to cool slightly on Wednesday.The Met Office cautioned: "Temperatures will climb over the next few days." "Scotland and Northern Ireland will see some warm weather, but it is across England and Wales where the heat will build most notably.Temperatures are likely to peak in the low to mid 30s Celsius in the southeast on Monday." They added: "Sunday is when we expect to see temperatures increasing, particularly in the south and east."
