Brits on holiday in Majorca this weekend faced anti-tourism protests with more than ‘10,000’ people reportedly taking to the streets of the island’s capital.

According to local news site Majorca Daily Bulletin, the number of people “is believed to have easily surpassed the 10,000 people who took part in the first protest back in May.” Several anti-tourism protests have taken place on the island in recent months, including demonstrations on beaches.
